There’s been a change to when your monthly subscription fee is charged
What's changed?
From 1 November, your SmartPayroll monthly fee will be charged each month, even if you have not processed a pay run in a given month. This means if you do not use your SmartPayroll site for a period of time, but still wish to keep your site open, you will still be charged the monthly fee.
This price change was originally scheduled to come into effect on 1 May 2020, after Inland Revenue removed their full subsidy for PAYE intermediaries on 1 April 2020, however this was delayed after NZ was moved to Alert Level 4. We have chosen not to pass on the full costs incurred from the loss in subsidy, as we believe in supporting kiwi businesses through these uncertain times.
We want to ensure we can offer you the highest level of support and continue delivering new feature enhancements, so we can no longer delay this change.
