We’ve recently added some new payroll manuals to help you achieve more from the SmartPayroll platform. The new guides match the updated look of the SmartPayroll and more importantly should make it very easy to run a pay, add a new employee or edit the details of a current one and find the most commonly requested reports.

New payroll guides

Employee Details Guide – covering the adding of details from codes, start dates, Kiwisaver, bank accounts, payslips, notifications and more. A simple guide to getting employee details setup correctly.

Running Payroll Reports – there are many types of report that you may wish to run and this guide covers the most commonly requested. From employee pay reports, costing reports, leave balance and history reports and more, chances are you will find the report type you are looking for within this guide.

Running a Pay – a step by step guide to running a pay run. From starting a one touch pay, to adding leave or one off payments and printing/emailing payslips. This guide will take you through the whole process and answer questions like how quickly your employees will be paid.
